The chains shattered. Black blotched out his vision, and seeing became the least of his worries as a blood curdling shriek laced through the room, and blood spattered onto his simple, pure white clothes. Someone had come… Though he was not sure if he wanted to be pierced by the blade that had found him, or be saved by it. For he was no longer the human he had once been. No memories would come to him, and all he knew was that he was now an abomination.

The scientist grasped his short crimson hair, tugging up his face so that those deep blue eyes could stare into his liquid silver orbs. The man seemed thoughtful as he looked over the facial features. His hazy mind couldn’t comprehend what was to come. He could not comprehend anything, his mind to dreary, and his body pumped full with drugs. He vaguely noticed the predatory gaze of the scientist just mere breaths away. He watched as the man licked his lip and slowly asked himself, “Well, well. What should we name you…? Hmm… I’ll name you Aka, my little moon child.”

The man came closer, a sardonic grin slowly tainting his tired features as he reached out towards the alien wings. He cringed away, afraid the man’s touch would burn or hurt. However, instead the wings were simply stroked, the fingers tickling against the cuts. “Well, how are those drugs working on you?”

His blurred silver eyes stared at the white door as the handle slowly turned. The door creaked on old hinges as it slowly swung opening. Before him stood a black haired man in his late thirties. He looked tired, but his dark blue eyes stared with shimmering interest in the winged teen. The man was in a pure white lab coat. It was stale, like everything else around him. However, the spread wings contrasted sharply. They were white, like everything else. The difference was: they shimmered. They could streak across the sky, and nothing could match their beauty. Even the blood could not hold back such undying beauty.
